String of Pearls (Senecio rowleyanus) 12cm Pot Plant

The String of Pearls (Senecio rowleyanus) or String of Beads is a succulent pot plant with a trailing growth habit.

Keep your String of Pearls in a bright indirect spot of sunlight with it watered sparingly. Their succulent leaves hold moisture for the plant allowing it to go longer between waterings. If your store is turning stock over at a reasonable pace there is a possibility you will not need to water it at all.

Habitat: Grows best in cooler temperatures.
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light.
Water: Watering once a month is plenty. Wait until soil is fully dry before watering.
Soil: Potting mix or sandy soil.
Fertiliser: Feed twice a week during active growth. Feed once every six weeks during dormant growth.
